I'm back - once more again! You won't notice this, but the blog you are reading now lives on a shiny new server, courtesy of Server Provider guy(TM). Poing!

Christmas happened, and the new year. Both were good, and mostly involved family. There are pictures. There will be pictures here. I got books from my Secret Santa, and a really wonderful blogposting by the person I was Secret Santa for. And an iPod from Johan - yay technotoys! Miranda gave me a necklace and earrings with owls.

And now, back to work. Sociolinguistics is the topic of the next few weeks, and I need to revise my thesis proposal and prepare for another seminar some time soon.
