Note to self: Remember to bring ear plugs tomorrow morning! Having 2 walkmen in opposite ends of the bus leaking sound is stressful enough, but this morning the bus driver put the radio on the loudspeakers so all the passengers were treated to a sports-and-pop radio channel; I am exceedingly bored by sports (and besides I needed to work this morning, which isn't really possible when a radio talks Very Loudly at you in the wrong language), and when the drum beat from various strands of pop music mingle (for naturally the walkman listeners turn up their volume three extra notches) and don't match even a little bit, it pretty much makes me want to tear my arm off and bash it over the bus driver's head. And I'm sure that could cause an traffic accident. . . much better to just wear ear plugs. Labels: personal
